Creed Aventus for Her Review: Does It Live Up to the Hype?
Creed has always been one of the most iconic luxury fragrance brands- known for its bold, empowering scents that make you feel expensive. When I first heard the iconic Aventus was getting a women’s perfumes counterpart, I knew I had to have it.
My review covers my first thoughts and lasting notes on the Creed Aventus perfume for women to help others decide if it is worth testing it out for themselves.
First Impressions of Creed Aventus for Her Eau de Parfum
At first, I was a little overwhelmed by the ultra-fruity top notes in this Eau de Parfum (no Eau de Toilette option), which include a strong hit of green apple and citrus. However, they settled very quickly, and the pink pepper and patchouli (a personal favorite of mine) shone through exquisitely.
It reminded me of some other fragrances, but it got a lot more interesting as the musky middle notes set in and the hint of sandalwood started to come through. Within the first five minutes, all I wanted to do was inhale the opulence I fully expected from a brand of this quality.
Wearing the Scent
I feel like this is absolutely the right perfume for someone who wants a durable and versatile daytime fragrance. It felt fresh all day long- with the patchouli and sandalwood mixing beautifully with the flowery rose and violet notes as the scent progressed. I’m not sure I would choose it for a special occasion or specifically for a night out, as it feels more mature and professional than fun.
My Lasting Impression of Aventus for Her by Creed
As expected, this intricate blend of musky, floral, and sweet scents is deliciously opulent and enticing. The fragrance lasts well, and I felt great wearing it. Popular relevance has put a lot of hype on this product- especially given the status of the original men’s version.
Does it live up to the expectations? For the most part, I would say yes- I personally think so. There are definitely cheaper colognes that have a similar smell, but I got more durable power and evolving interest with this one. Is it the best perfume I have ever worn? When I consider value for money, I’m not entirely sure- but it does stand out as one of my favorite fragrances overall.
How Does the Aventus Women’s Perfume Compare to the Men’s?
There are certainly a lot of similarities between the two, and you can tell they share fragrance families. It is certainly lighter and more fruity, but there is still a fairly masculine undertone. I would say it is great for any gender. Women might prefer the softer lingering notes from this version.
The women’s perfume smells more like the men’s version on clothes- less so directly on the pulse points. Of course, your unique body chemistry could create a different effect.
Creed Aventus: The King and Queen of Luxury Perfumes?
While individual preferences play key roles in determining the perfect scent, it is hard to deny that there is something utterly irresistible about the Aventus Eau de Parfum. It is more masculine than a lot of perfumes for women but has a clear sexy and sweet undertone that has Boss Lady written all over it.
For me, this has signature scent energy, and I feel confident, strong, and important with it on. By the time the scent settles and reaches its ultimate destination, it is everything you expect from the partner of the iconic men’s fragrance.
